    Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Senior first baseman Shaun McGraw delivered a walk-off RBI single with one out in the bottom of the 11th inning to give Binghamton (16-20, 8-9 America East) a 4-3 win over visiting Hartford (24-16, 10-4 AE) Sunday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

  • BU women's lacrosse caps record season with W

    Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton women’s lacrosse team held off a late UMBC rally to knock off the Retrievers, 8-7, in the season finale for both teams, Saturday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The Bearcats (7-9, 1-4 AE) denied a last chance effort by the Retrievers (7-9, 1-4 AE) in the closing seconds to pick up their first America East victory of the season.

  • BU men's lacrosse falls at Albany

    Albany (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Binghamton (7-7, 4-1 AE) fell on the road at Albany (9-5, 5-0 AE) 21-7 from John Fallon Field on Saturday night. The Bearcats, who will be the two seed in the upcoming America East tournament, received three goals from senior Michael Antinozzi in a losing effort.

  • Bearcats split with Hartford on the diamond

    Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Junior right fielder Zach Blanden produced a career-high six RBI and Binghamton gained a twinbill split with a 13-3 win over Hartford Saturday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The visiting Hawks won the opener 9-1.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) BU basketball player Rob Mansell is calling it quits. The Bearcats leading scorer from three seasons ago has announced, he's retiring from the game after two different knee injuries ended two different seasons.

  • Syracuse basketball to host Duke, Pitt and Louisville next season

    Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Syracuse men's basketball ACC schedule will feature home and away games against Duke, Pittsburgh, Boston College and Virginia Tech in 2014-15. The Orange will also host former Big East rival Louisville in the Carrier Dome, the league announced on Tuesday.

  • Thomas powers BU past Maine, 8-2

    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Junior left fielder Jake Thomas blasted two home runs - a grand slam and a two-run home run - and his career-high six RBI carried Binghamton baseball (12-19, 6-8 America East) to an 8-2 win over visiting Maine (14-21, 5-7 AE) in the rubber game of the three-game series Sunday afternoon from the Bearcats Sports Complex.
