    Grand Chute, WI (WBNG Binghamton) The 13th trip to the Division III College World Series was the charm for SUNY Cortland. The Red Dragons won their first-ever national title with a 6-2 win over UW-La Crosse on Wednesday afternoon.

  • Cortland powers its way to CWS final

    Grand Chute, WI (WBNG Binghamton) Cortland exploded for 11 runs in the top of the fifth inning to erase a 3-0 deficit and the Red Dragons defeated Frostburg State, 17-4, to win Pool A at the NCAA Div. III Baseball World Series.

  • Rain pushes Div. III World Series games to Monday

    Grand Chute, WI (WBNG Binghamton) The Red Dragons were scheduled to play Sunday at 4:30 p.m. (Central) in the "Pool A" finals versus the winner of the Ramapo/Frostburg elimination game, which was set for a 10 a.m. start. However, rain has postponed all of Sunday's games.

  • Cortland wins again at Div. III World Series

    Grand Chute, WI (WBNG Binghamton) Brandon Serio (Bedford Hills/Fox Lane) threw a complete game six-hitter as nationally top-ranked Cortland defeated second-ranked Frostburg State, 4-1, during the second day of competition at the NCAA Div. III Baseball World Series.

  • SUNY Cortland rolls in College World Series opener

    Grand Chute, WI (WBNG Binghamton) Seth Lamando (Hopewell Junction/Roy C. Ketcham) allowed five hits and matched his career high with 11 strikeouts and Cortland’s offense produced 19 hits as the nationally top-ranked Red Dragons defeated Webster University, 12-4, during the opening day of the NCAA Div. III World Series.
