  • Stony Brook overwhelms Bearcats, 64-52

    Stony Brook (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Host Stony Brook (19-10, 10-4 AE) used an 11-1 run midway through the second half to create a double-digit cushion and the Seawolves fended off Binghamton basketball (5-25, 4-11 AE) down the stretch 64-52 in an ESPN3 game Saturday night at the Island Federal Credit Union Arena.

  • Cuse comeback falls short vs. Pitt

    Syracuse (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Syracuse cut a nine-point deficit to one with less than a minute remaining, but couldn't overcome Pittsburgh in a 65-61 setback on Saturday, Feb. 21 in the Carrier Dome. Senior Rakeem Christmas led the Orange with 20 points and 12 rebounds in front of a crowd of 30,166.

  • First place Maine rolls BU, 70-56

    Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Liz Wood and Lauren Bodine each finished with 17 points, leading Maine (21-6, 13-1 AE) to a 70-56 win over Binghamton (4-23, 2-12 AE) in an America East women's basketball game.

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The No. 10 Cornell men's lacrosse team closed the second quarter on a 7-1 run to blow open a tied game and defeat Hobart, 16-8, this afternoon at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex.

  • Battling Bearcats upset Vermont

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Freshman forward Willie Rodriguez scored a game-high 18 points and Binghamton men's basketball (5-24, 4-10 America East) rallied from 10 points down in the second half to upend visiting Vermont (16-11, 11-3 AE) 57-55 Wednesday night at the Events Center.

  • Syracuse knocks off #12 Louisville

    Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Rakeem Christmas took control of the game in the second half, netting 18 of his 29 points after the intermission to hand No.12 Louisville (20-6, 8-5 ACC) a 69-59 setback.

  • Chatham records triple-double in Hornets win

    Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) SUNY Broome's Jovanni Chatham recorded a triple-double in his final home game for the Hornets on Tuesday night. His performance helped Broome beat Jefferson CC, 97-91, in overtime.
