    Burlington, VT (WBNG Binghamton) Brian Wright scored in the 33rd minute, lifting Vermont (11-6-3) to a 1-0 win over Binghamton (10-8-2) in the America East men's soccer championship game on Sunday afternoon at Virtue Field. The loss brought an end to the Bearcats' best season since 2008, when it last advanced to the conference title game.

  • Cortland claims Cortaca Jug, Empire 8 championship

    Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Cortland claimed its sixth straight Cortaca Jug and clinched the Empire 8 title and NCAA automatic berth with an 11-8 victory at Ithaca College. The Red Dragons (8-2, 6-2) finish as Empire 8 co-champions with St. John Fisher, but earn the league's NCAA bid over the Cardinals due to a head-to-head tiebreaker.
