  • BU's conference basketball schedules announced

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The America East released its basketball conference schedules on Thursday, which completes Binghamton’s 31-game slate for the 2014-15 season. Head coach Tommy Dempsey’s squad will open its 16-game league portion on January 2 at UMass Lowell.

    Vestal (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Mario Vukadinovic scored with just under five minutes left in the first half, leading unbeaten Marist (2-0-0) to a 1-0 win over Binghamton (1-1-0) in a non-conference men’s soccer game on Monday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The loss, which marked the Bearcats’ home opener, came against a Red Fox squad that has yet to allow a goal this season.

    Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Syracuse's Riley Dixon found Kendall Moore in the end zone on a fourth-down fake field goal attempt in double overtime, and after a Villanova touchdown, Robert Welsh stopped John Robertson on the potential game-winning two-point conversion attempt to give the Orange a thrilling 27-26 victory over the Wildcats in the opener at the Carrier Dome on Friday night.
