    College Park, MD (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The No. 13 Cornell men’s lacrosse team stormed out to a 5-1 halftime lead but saw sixth-seed Maryland come back before Mike Chanenchuk buried a shot with two seconds remaining in the contest to hand the Terps an 8-7 victory this evening in Byrd Stadium. The goal just beat out a shot clock violation as the officials put started the clock with :32 to play.

    Stony Brook (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Marlin Salano drilled a three-run home run, leading Albany (31-11) to a 5-2 win over Binghamton (22-25) in an America East Softball Tournament elimination game on Saturday afternoon at University Field. With the defeat, the Bearcats finish third in the America East Tournament for the second year in a row.
