    Old Westbury, NY (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Junior Rob Hardy pitched five innings of one-hit ball and sophomore first baseman Brendan Skidmore ripped a two-run triple in the fifth inning to spark Binghamton to a 5-1 win over NYIT in the rubber game of a weekend series Sunday afternoon from Lorenz Field.

  • Bearcats lose in bid for AEast tourney spot

    Vestal, NY (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton men's lacrosse team fell, 14-13, to Vermont on Saturday at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Seniors Tucker Nelson and Paul O'Donnell each scored five points in the America East finale, which also marked senior day for six Bearcats. BU entered the match needing to win by two goals to qualify for the America East Tournament.

  • Offense carries BU past Albany, 11-6

    Vestal, NY (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Freshman third baseman Kate Richard and freshman outfielder Jessica Rutherford each drove in four runs, powering Binghamton (14-16, 5-5 AE) to an 11-6 win over Albany (23-11, 6-3 AE) in an America East softball game on Sunday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex Softball Facility.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton baseball team dropped a 9-6 decision to Albany on Sunday afternoon. Zach Blanden and David Schanz each notched three hits in the America East game played at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

  • Bearcats split double dip with Great Danes

    Vestal, NY (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton baseball team won the second game of its America East doubleheader Saturday, earning a split with Albany. BU won, 7-4, after the Great Danes won the opener, 11-9, at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

  • Swept away: BU drops pair to Albany

    Vestal, NY (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Vicky McFarland and Maggie Cocks each homered twice, powering Albany (21-10, 6-2 AE) to a sweep over Binghamton (13-16, 4-5 AE) in an America East softball doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The Great Danes won the opener 8-5 and finished off a 13-4 win in five innings in the finale.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Junior catcher Lisa Cadogan homered twice and drove in six runs, highlighting the Binghamton softball team's split against UMass Lowell on Tuesday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex Softball Facility.

  • Albany tops BU, Thompson ties Division I points record

    Vestal, NY (WBNG BINGHAMTON) The Binghamton men's lacrosse team challenged #8/9 Albany Saturday night, but the Great Danes came away with a 15-11 America East decision at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Ben Kocis scored four goals to lead BU in front of a men's lacrosse-record crowd of 780 fans at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
