The win brings the Bearcats (29-23) to within one victory of advancing to the NCAA tournament.

    Nine players earned all-conference laurels and BU landed two of the four major award winners. Head Coach Tim Sinicki was a unanimous choice for Coach of the Year and senior pitcher Mike Bunal was selected as Pitcher of the Year by a vote of the seven head coaches.
