  • Syracuse basketball to host Duke, Pitt and Louisville next season

    Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Syracuse men's basketball ACC schedule will feature home and away games against Duke, Pittsburgh, Boston College and Virginia Tech in 2014-15. The Orange will also host former Big East rival Louisville in the Carrier Dome, the league announced on Tuesday.

    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Sophomore catcher Taylor Chaffee homered twice and drove in four runs, powering Binghamton (18-18, 8-3 AE) to a 10-3 win over Hartford (7-25, 1-11 AE) in an America East softball game on Sunday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

  • Binghamton splits with Maine

    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Senior DH Shaun McGraw and sophomore first baseman Reed Gamache drove in two runs apiece and Binghamton baseball (11-19, 5-8 America East) rapped five doubles en route to a 7-1 win over Maine in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The Black Bears (14-20, 5-6 AE) took the opener 3-0.

  • BU softball sweeps Hartford

    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Senior second baseman Jessica Bump homered twice and sophomore first baseman Lisa Cadogan belted a grand slam, leading Binghamton (17-18, 7-3 AE) to a sweep of Hartford (7-24, 1-10 AE) in an America East softball doubleheader on Saturday at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

  • Seniors power Bearcats past Stony Brook

    VESTAL (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Binghamton men’s lacrosse outlasted Stony Brook (5-9, 1-3 AE) in an America East conference shootout on Saturday, defeating the Seawolves 14-11 on senior day at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Binghamton (7-6, 4-0 AE) scored a season-high 14 goals, including nine goals from their senior class.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Sophomore outfielder Sydney Harbaugh went 6-for-8 (.750) and drove in three runs as Binghamton (15-18) split a non-conference softball doubleheader against Niagara (11-21) on Thursday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

  • Syracuse announces football games vs. LSU

    Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Syracuse Orange will host the LSU Tigers on Sept. 26, 2015 at the Carrier Dome, the first game of a two-game series between the two schools. The second game in the series will be played on Sept. 9, 2017 at LSU's Tiger Stadium.
