  • BU track & field competes at day one of America East outdoor meet

    Burlington, VT (WBNG Binghamton) Senior Joe Miceli won the men's pole vault and four school records were set, highlighting Binghamton's performance in the first day of the America East Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

    Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) After an eight-goal third quarter outburst and another stingy defensive effort, the No. 5 Syracuse men's lacrosse team (11-4) rolled to an impressive 18-3 win over Colgate (4-10) on Senior Day.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton (31-13, 12-3 AE) is in position to clinch its first-ever America East regular season title. Friday's games were cancelled due to weather.

  • BU's Golderman selected as America East Rookie of the Year

    Stony Brook, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Freshman Rebecca Golderman has been named the America East Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year. Golderman is the first Bearcat to be awarded the Rookie of the Year in the program's 15-year history.

  • Three BU players named men's lacrosse all-conference

    Boston, MA (WBNG Binghamton) George Deignan, Zach Scaduto, and Joe Licata were honored by the America East Wednesday. Deignan and Scaduto both earned all-conference second team recognition, while Licata was named to the all-rookie team.

  • BU softball confident heading into final weekend series

    (WBNG Binghamton) Currently BU is in first place and if the Bearcats stay there, BU will host the America East Conference tournament next week. The victory over SU is giving the women plenty of confidence heading into Friday.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton baseball (20-20) had its scheduled home game against Cornell canceled with threatening weather set to hit the area Wednesday afternoon.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton University held their annual awards banquet Monday night, and multiple seniors from the University were honored including a couple still in action like Jesse Garn and Sydney Harbaugh.
