    Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Norwich senior Morgan Hagenbuch signed to continue her gymnastics career at Brown on Tuesday evening.

  • Spotlight on the Spartans: M-E prepares for state title rematch

    (WBNG Binghamton) Maine-Endwell and Schalmont will meet for a second straight year in the Class B state title game on Sunday afternoon in Syracuse. If it's anything like the first, it'll be another instant classic.

  • Spartan explosion: M-E rips Cheektowaga en route to the Dome

    Rochester (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Maine-Endwell scored on each of its first seven offensive drives, jumping out to a 48-20 lead at halftime and never looking back, topping Cheektowaga, 54-28. The victory earned the Spartans a fourth straight trip to the Class B state championship game.

    Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Union-Endicott swimmer Nicole Petta has found a new home for next year. Petta signed to continue here swimming career at Rhode Island on Monday. A decision that seemed like an easy one once she made a visit.

  • Dominating Devils: Forks shuts out Thunder Dragons in state semis

    Rochester, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Chenango Forks scored on its first two drives, the Blue Devils defense pitched a near-perfect shutout, and they punched their ticket for the state title game with a 27-0 win over Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake on Saturday.

  • Vestal pummels JC, 9-1

    Town of Dickinson (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Vestal scored early and scored often -- to the tune of nine goals. The Golden Bears topped Johnson City 9-1 Saturday at SUNY Broome.

  • McGovern signs with Mansfield, honors her dad

    Binghamton (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Binghamton senior Leah McGovern signed her letter of intent to play softball at Mansfield University in front of friends and family Friday. One person was missing: her father, Tom, who unexpectedly passed away in June.

  • Tioga's Kryptonite: Tigers' season ends in state semi loss to Randolph

    Rochester, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Every team has its Kryptonite and for Tioga, it's Randolph. For a third straight year, the Tigers season ended with a loss to the Cardinals in the state semifinals, falling 20-8 at Rochester's Sahlen's Stadium on Friday night.
