Town of Union (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Union-Endicott rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but Corning shut the door to win its first STAC baseball championship, 7-4, Saturday at Maine-Endwell.

In the STAC semifinals earlier in the day, the Tigers tripped up Chenango Forks, 5-4.

Corning rallied down 2-1 in the seventh inning to upend Seton Catholic, 3-2.

Both Corning and U-E now turn their attention to the Class AA sectional playoff, where the two could face each other for a sectional crown.
