Forks upsets JC to move onto sectional finals

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Johnson City entered the Section IV Class C boy's lacrosse tournament as the two-time defending champions and number one seed. However, the Wildcats run for a third title ended on Tuesday against Chenango Forks.

The Blue Devils trailed early, but bounced back and beat JC 15-11 in the Class C semifinal.

Logan Hall led the way for Chenango Forks with six goals and two assists.

Forks now faces Maine-Endwell for the Section IV title on Thursday.

The Spartans handled Whitney Point in the other Class C semifinal.

Maine-Endwell got four goals from Justin Kopansky and another three goals and four assists from Justin Miller in the win.

In Class A, Ithaca ended Binghamton's season. The Little Red beat the Patriots 8-5 on Thursday night, which sets up a match-up with Corning in the Section IV finals on Thursday.
