Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Maine-Endwell's athletic facilities could have a different look in the near future. The school announced it's on the receiving end of a $2.2 million gift from M-E grad Thomas Tull and his wife Alba.

The donation is supposed to help finance a new turf baseball field and a sports lighting system for the football stadium.

Tull graduated in 1988 and is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive of Legendary Entertainment. He's also a co-owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The gift is pending acceptance by the board of education and approval from the State Education Department.
