Owego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Owego senior will continue her swimming career at a division one university.

Luci Kovalovsky signed her national letter of intent to swim at St. Bonaventure next season.

She plans on swimming the 100 yard backstroke and the 200 yard backstroke.

Kovalovsky says picking a college was a difficult decision, but added after visiting the campus and meeting the team, she knew that's where she wanted to go.

"St. Bonventure ended up being the best because they all made me feel at home and they were all very nice and the coach and I got along so its all about feeling at home and that's what I felt there and felt the most comfortable with," she says.

Kovalovsky says she's already made a few friends at her new school through facebook.

She'll major in special education.
