Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Patriots won their second straight last weekend to go to 3 and 1 on the season.
But this team knows it needs to do some work, if it wants to make it back to the state playoffs.

One of the biggest issues for the Patriots this season has been the mental mistakes.

Penalties, including holding calls, have eliminated several big plays for the Patriots this season.

Turnovers has been another issue.

Players say those are things that are worked on in practice.

"We go at it a lot. If someone fumbles, they have to do pushups. If they drop a pass, push-ups. Penalty wise, you'll get called out for it. Coach Davis with the glare," says senior Dan Sellepack.

The Patriots hope to clean things up this week before hosting rival Union-Endicott this Friday night.

U-E won last year's meeting 43-21.
