Sidney, NY (WBNG Binghamton)
Unlike Greene, Sidney returns a lot of players that do not play on the front lines.
In fact, their entire backfield from last year returns for their senior season.
And while they are taking some time breaking in new players up front, the guys running the ball have had no trouble working through the playbook.
Running Back Corbin Curley says, " We've been running the same plays since we were in modified, so by the time you get up on varsity you know it like the back of your hand, it's just the same stuff over and over again. You just have to do the repetitions to get it down."
Coach Jeff Mathews says , " It is definitely nice to have the players back who know how to run the offense, but it doesn't matter if you don't have the lineman to open holes. You're going to have problems on offense."
So while the line work continues, the Warriors feel good about the player leading the offensive huddle.
Tonight at 11 we'll talk with Dylan Umbra, who is back for the 4th year as starting quarterback
