Endwell, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

The construction zone around Maine-Endwell high school is still in full force, but the work behind the school is done.

That is to say, the new field is in place.

The Spartans are still in the process of building a new team.
Gone from last year's squad are the leading rusher, passer receiver, linebacker and defensive backs.

In their place step a JV team that was dominant last year.
Now they hope to have the same success at the varsity level.

" Yeah they are all big kids, for sophomores especially. They hit hard and work hard so we're looking for big years out of all of them."
" That class is really fast, they'll mix in well with the varsity in special teams and offensive and defensive purposes."

The Spartans are back in class "A" this season.
Find out why that fits the young Spartans perfectly for the coming year, tonight at 11.-
