Spartans Ready For One More Game

This weekend 4 section 4 teams played in the state football semifinals.
And if I had given you the choice to take any one of them to advance to the championship game, the least likely would have been the Maine-Endwell Spartans.
But as this week begins they are the last local team standing.

Monday M-E worked out at Union-Endicott high school after enjoying every minute of this past weekend.
On Friday they beat the #1 team in the state.
Coach Matt Gallagher told them to soak it all in.
But at the same time, it's time to get ready for one more game.

The Maine-Endwell spartans face the Burnt Hills, Ballston Spa Spartans in the Class "A" finals.
The game is Friday at 2:00 at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.
