Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) For the second year in a row, the New York State Class B baseball championship comes back to Section 4.

Oneonta downed section 1 champion Braircliff 2-0 behind a great pitching performance by Ben Moxley and a home run by senior Mike Calkins.

It was also Calkins who delivered the game tying home run in the sectional finals earlier this month.

Coaches say it's been a very special season, right from the start.

"Really the sectional game. That's what really geared us up for all of this. Chenango Valley was state champions this year and that's what we're doing this for. We did not want to have that same feeling that we did last year so we put in so much work over the offseason...first day, all we said was first pitch, last out, never give up and we never gave up," says senior Mike Calkins.

"This game...the journey..the hard work these guys put in...the fun times we've had. We've had some ups and downs but for the most part, they put a smile on our coaches faces every day," says head coach Joe Hughes.

Oneonta graduates 11 seniors and has just 4 players returning next season.
