Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

It's a short ride down the Vestal parkway from the high school to Binghamton University, but Vestal senior Corinne Zotter isn't driving that distance, she's swimming it.

The Golden Bears record holder in the breast stroke will continue her swimming career with the Bearcats.
Today she signed her national letter of intent to swim at BU.

"They really wanted to see if I liked the school. They wanted to make sure it was a good academic fit, not only swim wise. I stayed overnight with the swim team and we had a blast and it felt like the place to be."

A gold medal winner in the empire state games, and girls swimming MVP for two years, Zotter was the breast stroke champion for Section IV for the last two years and the freestyle sectional champion last year.
