Tigers clinch STAC Metro Title

ENDICOTT (WBNG BINGHAMTON) On the strength of 19 points from C.J. Krowiak and 12 from Matthew Eastman, Union-Endicott topped Corning to win the STAC Metro Division.

The Tigers finish the season 11-3 in conference play, narrowly edging Maine-Endwell (10-4 STAC).

On the ladies' side, Corning slipped past U-E, 41-39.

The boys from Chenango Valley ran over rival Chenango Forks,62-32.

Derrek Carman poured in 40 points and corralled 20 rebounds to leave Spencer-Van Etten to a 69-26 laugher over Groton.

In another tight contest, Elmira-Notre Dame held on to beat Lansing on the road, 49-48.
