Edison, NY (WBNG Binghamton) On the brink of the winter sports season, some fall sports are still going hard, like the Tioga Tigers Football team.

The Tigers are on a quest to win their first state title in school history.

Tioga beat out Sandy Creek High School last week 54-13 putting them in the final 4 for states.

Next is Randolph high school, who will be tough to beat. But the Tigers aren't ready for their season to be over, especially the seniors.

Senior, Tyler Spires said,"(On Randolph) they know we don't want to get shut down, we don't want to get stopped. We were stopped last year, we want to go all the way."

"Their coaching staff knows where they're supposed to be, they know how to get them there. They're here for a reason," said Junior, Carter Jackson, "we just have to go out and do our jobs and take home the 'W'."

The Tigers face Randolph High School at 5 on Friday in Rochester.

Head Coach, Nick Aiello said, "They're going to bring it. You can tell they're well coached because they do all the little things right and its going to be a good test for us."

If they win, they'll head to the State Class D Championship in Syracuse.
