Endicott (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Becky Kienz delivered a two-out, walk off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning for Valley Central, sending the Vikings to a 2-1 win over Union-Endicott in a Class AA regional game. U-E's Alexis Eastman pitched a complete game in defeat.

The Tigers fell behind 1-0 and could not touch Valley Central starter Cindy Connoly for five innings. But a ground rule double by Eastman in the sixth inning scored Skyler Hoyt, tying the game at 1-1.

With the Tigers being a senior-laden team, Saturday's loss marked the end of a long run of success for the U-E seniors.

"They're talented girls but they're a great group of girls," said head coach Jim Testa. "They get along so well together, you could see how much it meant to them at the end of the game. They gave it all they had. It's been a great time and I'm really miss this group definitely."
