U-E's Davis Named to All-State First Team

Union-Endicott's Dan Davis was named to the New York State Class A First Team Wednesday afternoon. Davis was selected as a first team linebacker, and was the lone Section IV player to be named to the first team in Class A or AA.

Here's a look at all the Section IV players from Class AA and A who made the lists:

Class AA
Third Team:
QB - Andre Yevchinecz (Binghamton)
OL - Nick Garbarino
LB - Joe Crowley

Honorable Mention: Jerry McPeak (Elmira), Morgan Faughnan (Binghamton)

Class A
First Team:
LB - Dan Davis

Second Team:
OE - Pat Carlin (Vestal)

Third Team:
OL - Josh Paugh (Union-Endicott)

Fourth Team:
RB - Michael Cheslock (Union-Endicott)
OE - Nick Yesensky (Union-Endicott)
DB - Luke Wright (Vestal)
PK - Tom Mencel (Union-Endicott)
