U-E's Krowiak earns first team all-state honors

(WBNG Binghamton)  Union-Endicott's CJ Krowiak recorded more than 1,100 yards of receiving and 14 touchdowns this season, and for that was named to the all-state first team for football in Class A by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Krowiak helped the Tigers get back to the state semifinals for the second straight season.  Fellow Tiger wide receiver Nick Yesensky is placed on the all-state second team.

In Class AA, Elmira's Eli Thomas is the lone Section IV member on the first team. Binghamton's Joe Crowley earns second team honors after being named to the third team defense last season.
