Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

Another section 4 team is headed to the state semi's.
Vestal in class "B" on the girls side is ready for the challenge after edging Oswego in the opening round.
And they're trying to strike a balance between enjoying the experience and concentrating on the game.
Senior Julia Maczko says, " I'd like to say that I want them to put it behind them, but I want them to enjoy every single second because this isn't something that happens often and it's just amazing that we got this far so I feel like we need to feel that we're going to win and feel that amazing energy of just making it this far."

Coach Dave Williams says, " We just talked about, listen, we have to play our best game and play the best that we can play regardless of opponent, which is formidable this week and we just have to do the best that we can do."

Vestal will face Garden City of section 8 in Friday's state semifinals.
They play at 2:30 at SUNY Cortland.
