In a battle of high-flying offenses, it was defense that ruled the day as Waverly held off Tioga 14-8.
The game was delayed over 30 minutes for a lightning delay.
Zach Cooney led the Wolverines on a 15-play 94 yard touchdown drive to put Waverly up 14-0 in the 4th.
