Wrestling Tourney Brings New York's Best To Binghamton

With a few spring sports already wrapping up their postseason, some move on to a summer travel sport.
But plenty more around new york state are coming to Binghamton to pick up on their winter sports season.

Once again the New York State/USA wrestling tournament will take over the ice rink on the campus of Broome Community college.
High school wrestlers from around the state will compete in 2 different wrestling styles for a chance to represent New York in Fargo North Dakota and the national championships later this summer.

Wrestling started tonight and will continue at BCC all weekend.
This year there is a new girls championship as well.
The top 3 finishers in each weight advance to Fargo for nationals.
