    Binghamton (WBNG BINGHAMTON) A tornado swept through the Arena in downtown Binghamton Tuesday night, but it wasn't purple. It was the navy and white of Kennedy Catholic. The Gaels walked into the regional final of the Mirabito STOP-DWI Holiday Classic and walked out with a convincing win, denying Norwich its third title in four years.

    Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Ranked 12th in the state in Class B, Susquehanna Valley edged Ithaca, 54-53, in the second day of the Pete Hyde Coaches vs. Cancer Classic at Johnson City middle school on Monday.

  • Toronto to face Philly for STOP-DWI National Division title

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) St. Michael's and Bishop Loughlin were tied after the first quarter and within four points at half, but the boys from Toronto edged the guys from Brooklyn in the end. St. Michael's earned a spot in Tuesday's Mirabito STOP-DWI Holiday Classic National Division title with a 67-58 win on Monday night.

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It's been six years since Windsor has played at the Mirabito STOP-DWI Holiday Classic, but the Black Knights ended that wait in style on Monday night. Windsor beat Sidney, 67-36, in the Regional Division II semis to advance to Tuesday's final.

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Norwich started the game on an 18-3 run, and never looked back against Owego. The Purple Tornado cruised to a 60-35 victory over the Indians on Sunday in the Mirabito STOP-DWI Holiday Classic Regional Division 1 semifinal.

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Danilo Djuricic, a 15-year-old sophomore at St. Michael's College School in Toronto, wowed the crowd at the Arena with a series of dunks to take home the 2014 Mirabito STOP-DWI Holiday Classic dunk contest title on Saturday night.
