  • Tioga's Kryptonite: Tigers' season ends in state semi loss to Randolph

    Rochester, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Every team has its Kryptonite and for Tioga, it's Randolph. For a third straight year, the Tigers season ended with a loss to the Cardinals in the state semifinals, falling 20-8 at Rochester's Sahlen's Stadium on Friday night.

  • JC edges Forks on the ice

    Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Zach Miles scored a pair of goals for Johnson City as they edged Chenango Forks, 5-4, in Broome County High School Hockey Association action on Thursday night.

    (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Just two opponents have scored first against Chenango Forks this year. They happen to be the only other Section IV teams remaining. The Blue Devils lost to Maine-Endwell, but eventually pulled away in the second half to beat Tioga. Every other team? Good luck.

    Johnson City (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Shane Majewski signed his letter of intent to play lacrosse at Robert Morris Monday. When he plays in college, he will be the first Wildcat to play Division I lacrosse.
