    Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The weather to begin this April kept baseball and softball teams inside the gym. Now to make-up the games missed teams are playing nearly everyday like the Johnson City baseball team who played their 4th game in four days this afternoon.

    Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Some things just run in the family. After all, Thomas Pasquale isn't the first athletic Pasquale in the group. Thomas is a two-sport athlete for the Tigers, an all-state baseball player and he ranks in the top 20 in his class with a 95 GPA.

    (WBNG Binghamton) - Spring weather is finally here. The spring athletes no longer need to dress for a snow ball fight to play their sport. Thursday saw some boys lacrosse action in the Southern Tier including an overtime game between M-E and Owego.

  • Johnson City sweeps baseball-softball vs. Windsor

    Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Coming off losses on Tuesday, both Johnson City teams were in action on Wednesday. The softball team beat Windsor 8-2, and the baseball outlasted Windsor 13-8.

  • Vestal girls lax beats Corning, Coach Williams wins #100

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) In one of the biggest games in the Southern Tier so far this girl's lacrosse season, Vestal outlasted Corning 8-7 to earn head coach Dave Williams his 100th career victory.

  • Susquehanna Valley sweeps baseball-softball vs. Johnson City

    Conklin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) - It's been difficult for baseball and softball teams to play this April. Tuesday Susquehanna Valley welcomed Johnson City to Conklin for both baseball and softball.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Vestal's Nick Barney is one of many three-sport athletes for the Golden Bears. Monday he put his love of the links to ink, signing his letter of intent to golf at Le Moyne College on a golf scholarship.

    (WBNG Binghamton) The rain did not postpone the high school lacrosse games across the Southern Tier. The girls were still in action including Chenango Forks' sophomore sensation Brooke Maietta.

    (WBNG Binghamton) The weather has put a damper on the beginning of the spring sports season in the Southern Tier. Baseball and softball teams have found it difficult to play games. The lacrosse teams on the other hand are braving the cold and there was plenty of girls lacrosse action across the Southern Tier Friday.
