    (WBNG Binghamton) Rosters for the Upstate vs. Downstate Senior Football Classic have been released. The game is set to take place on Sunday, June 14 at Ithaca College.

  • Binghamton, M-E softball lose in regionals

    Thiells, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Top-ranked Clarkstown South shut down Binghamton in the Class AA regionals, while Pearl River's walk-off single in the eighth inning eliminated Maine-Endwell from the Class A bracket.

  • Tioga wins big en route to Class C semis

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) In the school's first baseball state playoff game since 1985, Tioga's bats cracked 13 hits and plated 8 runs, helping the Tigers cruise past Sauquoit Valley Saturday.

  • U-E, Windsor knocked out early in state playoffs

    Town of Union (WBNG Binghamton) Union-Endicott couldn't muster a run against Saugerties pitcher Nick Teitter, falling 3-0 in the NYSPHSAA Class A baseball sub-regional round. Elsewhere, the Windsor softball team was eliminated from the Class B bracket, while Deposit advanced to the Class D semifinals.

    Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton softball team finally slayed the dragon this past weekend. After losing three times to Horseheads this season, the Patriots bashed their way past the Blue Raiders in the one that counts, the Section IV final.

  • SV's Griffiths places third at state golf championships

    Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Susquehanna Valley sophomore DJ Griffiths shot a round two 74 (+3) Monday to finish third at the 2015 NYPHSAA Boys Golf championships at Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in Ithaca.
