However, one moment stood out during the Spartans' 48-20 win over Norwich in the Section IV Class B title game.

    Arlington (WBNG BINGHAMTON) No. 4 Seton Catholic fell behind 2-0 at halftime and could not claw back, falling to No. 3 Bronxville, 3-1, in the Class B regional round.

  • Chenango Forks claims third straight Section IV crown

    Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Chenango Forks sophomore running back L.J. Watson ran for a touchdown, threw for a touchdown and helped the Blue Devils to a third straight Section IV Class D title on Saturday. Forks beat Newark Valley, 42-21, on Saturday afternoon at U-E's Ty Cobb Stadium.

    Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Maine-Endwell shook off the scare from Susquehanna Valley in the Section IV Class B semis last week and cruised to a fifth straight sectional title with a 48-20 victory over Norwich on Saturday evening.

    Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) For the second year in a row the Whitney Point field hockey team is headed to the state semis. The Eagles punched their ticket with a 2-0 win at Maine-Endwell high school on Saturday night.

    Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Union-Endicott took the opening kickoff back for a touchdown, and never trailed against rival Vestal on Friday night. The Tigers beat the Golden Bears 28-7 to win their third straight Section IV Class A crown.

    Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Up 12-0 at halftime in Week 5, it looked like the Vestal football team was going to snap its 8-game losing streak against rival Union-Endicott. That was before an 18-point second half rally gave the Tigers a ninth straight win against the Golden Bears.
