Team New York is getting ready for the tournament with a training camp this week at Johnson City high school.

Several top coaches are leading the drills.

The local wrestlers are an all-star collection of section champs, state champs and even all-americans.

For those who have been to nationals before, they're expecting another week of competing against the country's best.

Tom Voorhis from Chenango Forks is a four-time competitor at Nationals. He says, "It's intense. Just go out there. You got to treat it like any other match but afterwards you can look back at home big it was."

Casey Lanave, also from Chenango Forks, will compete in his second Nationals. He says, ""I expected it to be pretty easy last year and the kids are phenomenal out there. Kids I haven't heard of before."
