Maine-Endwell won its fourth straight Class A softball title, defeating Corning West 2-0.

All-Stater Nicole Osovski pitched a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts.

Pinch hitter Erin Sullivan hit a two-run single for the Spartans, who advance to play section one champ Pearl River Monday at Nanuet High School.

Pearl River ended M-E's season last year.

In Class AA, defending state runner-up Horseheads defeated Union-Endicott 3-1.

In Class B, Chenango Valley avenged two early-season losses to Windsor by defeating the state champs 6-0.

In Class C, Tioga won its first section title, defeating Greene 7-3.

Pitcher Sarah Wayson struck out 11 and had four hits at the plate.

And in Class D, Afton made it 15 straight section titles by beating Deposit 9-4.

Reigning Class D player of the year Jessie Winans drove in three runs.
