" There was a campus wide email, and that's how it started."
And with that a new career was born.
After serving with the Army reserves in Operation Iraqi Freedom 3, Binghamton native Jessica Thompson returned home.
She said she always wanted to go the college route, and quickly adjusted to life on campus. Then she realized she needed something more.
Jessica says," I was deans list 2 straight semesters and needed to have fun."

Coach Dave Bollinger says, "we had practice about every day over the winter and she just got better through hard work."
