A very happy valentines day to all those that love playoff basketball...because we have plenty of that this week.
The STAC playoffs start up tomorrow night, but one team has been in the playoffs for a week already.

Johnson city had to win at Norwich to force a Central division tiebreaker and they beat Norwich again to make the STAC semi's.
Their reward is a rematch with Union-Endicott, a team that rallied to beat them in the STOP-DWI holiday classic.
This time around the Wildcats will be focused on the Tigers #1 guard KJ Rose.

Coach Mark woitach says, "KJ's a very good player. They've got a lot of good players. We just have to keep playing D. I think we're better defensively now than we were at that point in the season."

Ian Pettiford says, "There's very good players on that team but... We just gotta play hard, get in transition and take a big win."

JC also know both teams like to run in transition.
Woitach says he doesn't want to put the brakes on his team too much.
But says it'll be more of a case of running smart.

On the Tigers side, a defense keying on KJ Rose is nothing new.
Just a sophomore, Rose has been one of, if not the most dynamic players in STAC.
And more than just his ability to score, his ability to set up his teammates will be crucial in this game.
