Corey Cowick led the B-Sens offense tallying two goals, including the game winner, and an assist. Not to be outdone, Stephane Da Costa also potted a pair of goals and Jean-Gabriel Pageau drew three assists.

The B-Sens struck first as Cowick capitalized on his own rebound to get Binghamton on the board, 1-0 at 7:32 of the first. The goal, his fifth of the season, came shorthanded, extending the B-Sens’ league lead in that category to ten. Pageau earned the lone assist on the play.

The Amerks would answer on a power play, tying the game 1-1 at 14:50. Forward Luke Adam netted his ninth of the year with helpers from Nick Crawford and Brayden McNabb. Cowick reclaimed the lead at 18:21 scoring his second ringer of the night with assists from Hugh Jessiman and Pageau.

The B-Sens used the second period to expand their lead over Rochester, starting with Da Costa’s seventh goal of the year at 9:13. Assists were credited to Pageau and Cowick. At 11:51, forward Jack Downing added his first goal of the season into the mix with helpers from David Dziurzynski and Daniel New. Da Costa would round out the frame at the 14:33 mark scoring his second goal of the night, this time assisted by Mark Stone and Mika Zibanejad.

A quiet third period for both sides would ultimately result in a 5-1 victory for Binghamton. With the win, the B-Sens improved their season record against the Amerks to 5-0-0-1.
