Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The B-Sens will have had five full days of rest before taking the ice Friday. That is rest the team will need every bit of this weekend, as Binghamton has another three games in three nights stretch.

The first of those is a trip to Rochester to visit the Amerks on Friday night. It's a game that may not be a divisional or even conference contest, but coach Luke Richardson still puts a lot of emphasis on it.

"We can't not be ready to play a game, you can't conserve your energy for the next game, you have to take it as it comes," said Richardson. "We've got to realize we need that first game. You can play a little less fancy and a little bit more structural on the road than you do at home. At home you want as big an effort and a good show and get some offense created for the home crowd."

The B-Sens will need to make a move to have two goalies before Friday's game. Nathan Lawson was scheduled to back-up Robin Lehner for Ottawa on Thursday night.

If he does not return, Richardson said earlier this week Binghamton plans to bring goalie Scott Greenham up from Elmira to be Andrew Hammond's backup.
