Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) After dropping their first two decision to the Adirondack Phantoms, the Binghamton Senators finally broke through Friday.

As they say, the third time's the charm.

Binghamton used three third period goals and a stingy penalty kill to knock off the Phantoms, 4-2.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau had a goal -- the game winner in the third -- and an assist, as did Mark Stone, who notched an empty netter in the final minute of regulation.

Pepper all night long, Binghamton goalie Nate Lawson held Adirondack to two goals on 50 shots.

He was aided by a penalty kill that forced Adirondack into an 0-for-7 night on the power play. Binghamton fared only slightly better, converting one just one of its own seven opportunities.

With the win, the B-Sens move to 10-4 on the season.

They get Rochester Saturday night at home.
