B-Sens comeback for dramatic win in season opener

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators trailed Syracuse 3-1 entering the third period. The B-Sens proceeded to score the next three goals, including Cody Ceci's game-winner in overtime to win 4-3.

Derek Grant opened the scoring with a shorthanded score for the B-Sens, tying things up at 1-1 in the second period. Grant led the AHL last season with five shorthanded goals for Binghamton.

The game was the lone contest for the B-Sens this weekend, before traveling to Norfolk for a pair of games next Friday and Saturday.

Binghamton returns home October 19 to face the Crunch. The B-Sens and Syracuse play two more times in the next four.
