Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It isn't an easy time to be the Binghamton Senators. On top of a four-game losing streak, Wednesday's NHL trade deadline hangs over the team's heads.

A number of rumors have circulated involving a handful of B-Sens players. For this team, coach Luke Richardson admits it has been a little difficult.

"This time of the year clocks tick slow and I think Wednesday can't come soon enough," said Richardson. "Ottawa is in a tough predicament, their not sure if they should bulk up and make the push for the playoffs or try and build and get some prospects and draft picks and stock pile again for next year. So it's a tough position for them to know what to do, but the players down here, they have a lot of fun together, they're pretty close so I think that helps."

The good news, Richardson said Mark Borowiecki is expected back on the ice for practice this week. The B-Sens captain did not make the Canada trip with the team because of a lower body injury.

Following three games in four days, Binghamton has an entire week to prepare for Utica to visit on Saturday night.
