Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Since being sent down to Binghamton last week, Jean-Gabriel Pageau has assisted on all five of the B-Sens goals.

That's the type of production that helped get him to the NHL, and the type of plays he made during the playoff run for the Senators last season.

Coach Luke Richardson said they sent him down so he can more consistently be in the line-up, and he is certainly taking advantage of that opportunity so far.

"You saw it in his play. When he plays, he plays hard, and that's the difference," said Richardson. "The hard feelings he's going through, he puts them aside. That's hard to do in any sport or anything in life, is to check your emotions and deal with what you have to deal with at the moment, and that's what he does so well."

Pageau is currently on a two-way deal, which makes it easy to bring him back and forth from Ottawa. Richardson though believes he'll continue to be in the mix for the Senators as they continue to make roster moves to find some consistent success.
