Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Jamie Curtis tipped in a missed shot late in the 4th quarter as Binghamton held off Maine-Endwell 50-45 for the Region 1 Championship at the Mirabito STOP DWI Holiday Classic.
Curtis finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds. KJ Rose scored 13 points and Andre Yevchinez added 11 for the Patriots.
Chris Heimes had 15 points and 9 rebounds for the Spartans.
The Patriots avenged an early season loss where the Spartans won the game on a tip-in basket in the final seconds.
