Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

Union-Endicott track star Kathy Cadet made it official Wednesday, signing her National Letter of Intent to run for Manhattan College next year.

As a Tiger, Cadet owns the school-record in the 400 yard hurdles and won STAC Championships in both the 100 and 400 yard hurdle events last year.

However, while she's excited to become a Jasper, she says she'll miss her teammates at U-E.

"It's just a bittersweet kind of feeling," said Cadet. "I mean I can't wait to run for Manhattan and can't wait to meet new people and become part of a new track family, but at the same time this team means so much to me, it's hard to leave."

At Manhattan, Cadet plans to study Biology and hopes to one day become a doctor.
