Nichols, NY (WBNG Binghamton) He has the second most receptions in New York Jets history, and he's the type of guy the Jets could use back at receiver after some of last year's troubles. Wayne Chrebet was at Tioga Downs Thursday as his horse "Lukas Hall" competed at the race track.

Before his horse took to the dirt, Chrebet talked about what he sees with this year's Jets team.

With camp just a week away, he believes the team needs a receiver to step up, especially with the quarterback dual between Mark Sanchez and rookie Geno Smith taking shape.

"It's going to be tough. Somebody is going to have to step up or two people are going to step up," said Chrebet. "With the quarterback situation, every one is going to have to do something. Somebody is going to have to click, Geno is going to find a guy and Mark is going to find a guy and they're going to click. It's going to be great competition."

As for Chrebet's horse, "Lukas Hall" finishes third in his race at Tioga Downs. He got into the business of horse racing about 10 years ago. For this 2 year old, it's his third race.

The horse is expected to compete at Tioga Downs again next Friday.
