Christ the King takes home fourth STOP-DWI National title

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Christ the King trailed by 15 in the first half, but like the Royals had all tournament, they rallied. They rallied to top Long Island Lutheran 56-53 to win their fourth Mirabito STOP-DWI Holiday Classic title.

After the Royals got off to a hot start, Long Island Lutheran used a 24-5 run to open up a big lead in the second quarter. However, Christ the King used a 14-4 run of its own to close the half only down six.

The Royals finally took the lead again with less than two minutes remaining and held off Long Island Lutheran for the crown.

Travis Atson led Christ the King with 17 points and Rawle Alkins pitched in 16 in the win.
