Coach Kelly retires as Delhi's football coach after 48 seasons

Delhi, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Delhi head football coach David Kelly is retiring after 48 seasons on the sidelines for the Bulldogs.

Kelly began his tenure at Delhi back in 1966, and since has won 272 career games, the 2001 Class C state title, and had a 34-game winning streak.

He was a graduate of Delhi, and also coached the school's track and field teams and JV basketball team over the course of the last 30 years.

The football field was named "Dave Kelly Field" back in 2001 and is a member of the Section IV Hall of Fame.
