Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The field is just about set for the 2013 Dick's Sporting Goods Open, as final names were added to the list Friday.

Since releasing the early entries back in June, two more World Golf Hall of Fame members have joined the field in Tom Kite and Hale Irwin.

The group coming to En-Joie is missing a few notable names like Tom Watson and Fred Couples, but tournament director John Karedes likes what he sees in the 81-person field.

"Last year was an unprecedented, we had the top 60 players on the money list all commit. Without going through data here in the last ten minutes when we received our final field, I know we couldn't duplicate that or even come close just because certainly Fred Couples has not committed in our field and there are a few others," said Karedes on Friday. "So we know there are a couple holes compared to last year, but still one of the best fields we've ever had and one of the best fields on the Champions Tour this year."

There will also be a little history made at En-Joie next week. This year's Dick's Sporting Goods Open marks the 1,000 tournament in Champions Tour history.
