East All-Stars fall in Eastern League All-Star Game

Altoona, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton Mets outfielder Kyle Johnson went 2-for-2 for the East All-Star team, but it was the West team that prevailed 5-2 in the Eastern League All-Star STOP on Wednesday.

On the mound, B-Mets relief pitcher Jon Velasquez pitched an inning, while surrendering an unearned run and striking out one batter. Cody Satterwhite tossed two-thirds of an inning and struck out both batters he faced.

Meanwhile, B-Mets infielder Brian Burgamy struck out in his only plate appearance for the East All-Stars.

The B-Mets return home on Thursday to start a series with Trenton at NYSEG Stadium.
