Utica (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Endicott Post 82 beat Saratoga Stampede twice Sunday to capture the 2014 New York State American Legion baseball championship.

Endicott won 10-6 in the first game and 6-0 in the second game.

In the final game, Nick Yesensky pitched five one-hit, shutout innings and Jared McStine threw two hitless frames to finish the shutout.

CJ Krowiak drove in two runs and Joey Orland went 4-for-4 at the plate.

Coming out of the loser's bracket, Endicott entered the day needing a win in the first game -- a 10 a.m. start -- to force a definitive championship game. They got it thanks to big game from third baseman Jared McStine. McStine went 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

Dylan Nardocci and Nick Yesensky each added two RBIs apiece; Matt Eastman reached base four times and scored three runs.
