Johnson City (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Greater Binghamton FC notched its fourth consecutive shutout and Ben Ramin scored the game-winning goal, propelling the Thunder past Junior Lone Star, 1-0.

It was the second straight game in which the Thunder won by a 1-0 score.

Sunday’s goal came when Bo Jelovac took the ball on the right sideline, beat a Lone Star defender and centered a pass onto the foot of Ben Ramin, who drove the ball past Prince Monyan, the Lone Star keeper.

The win avenged GBFC's only NPSL loss in 2014. The Thunder are now 6-1-2 in NPSL play.

The Thunder next play at home Wednesday, June 25, when they play the Electric City Shock at 6 p.m. on Visions Field at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex. In a previous match this year, the Thunder and the Shock tied, 2-2, in Scranton.
