Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A couple of Binghamton Senators are showing off their talents at the AHL All-Star game in Providence.
One is defenseman Eric Gryba.
Gryba has become one of the leaders and top defensemen in Binghamton.
He has 5 goals and 4 assists in 32 games this season.
"It's an honor to be named an all-star. It was definitely unexpected but it feels good to be able to replace Benoit and represent our team," says Gryba.
Head coach Luke Richardson will be behind the bench leading the Eastern Conference in the All-Star game.
In his first season with the B-Sens, Richardson has guided the team to top spot in the AHL, with 58 points.
He says it's an honor for him, but he wouldn't be there if not for his team.
"We've enjoyed the ride with them so we want to go and represent them well. Its definitely a big honor but we're just going to take it as a coaching staff, I get to go but the whole coaching staff takes it as a representation of our players," says Richardson.
