Harpursville, Oneonta and M-E move on in state tournament

Miranda Drummond tallied 26 points, and Harpursville needed every last one of them to beat Cooperstown 45-43 Saturday. With the win the Hornets now advance to the New York State Final Four next weekend.

In Class A, Maine-Endwell was able to hold off Wallkill for the second time in three season, as the Spartans won 62-58. They too are moving onto next weekends state semifinals.

As for Class B, Oneonta's Mariah Ruff scored 28 points to push the Yellow Jackets past Utica Notre Dame.
