Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Maine-Endwell senior quarterback Kyle Gallagher manufactured a drive Sunday that M-E fans will talk about for years to come.

The Spartans form of "the drive" helped save a 38-game winning streak and secure their third straight state title.

Gallagher took his team 75 yards in less than a minute and a half for the game-winning score. During the drive, Gallagher connected with Jake Sinicki a couple times and got some help by a remarkable catch by Alec Wisniewski on M-E's way into the end zone.

It was a perfect way to cap another perfect season.

"We've pretty much had every situation in this run," said Gallagher after the title game. "The only thing we didn't have was a two minute drive to win the game and that's what we did [Sunday], so in this run we've battled back from every situation and we won this game."

This week the Pittsburgh Steelers sent a congratulatory message to the Spartans for winning their third straight state title. M-E grad Thomas Tull is a part owner of the team, and he sent the message the team's way.
